THE REAL AGENDA OF PLANNED PARENTHOOD
Planned Parenthood is a well-known non-profit organization that consists of 159 medical and non-medical affiliates, which operate over 600 health clinics in the U.S. It partners with organizations in 12 countries globally. Planned Parenthood is also one of the largest abortion providers in the United States. In reality, the organization does very little outside the realm of sexual health. Aside from abortion, its most common offerings are STD tests and birth control.
Last year, by their own numbers, Planned Parenthood performed 321,384 abortions. That’s according to Planned Parenthood’s own annual report! That’s the intentional termination of over 300,000 human unborn babies. Utterly horrifying! The real agenda of Planned Parenthood is a silent holocaust on the unborn, and Christians need to be aware of this.
The new President of Planned Parenthood is an American physician named Leana Wen. Recently, Wen appeared on CBS This Morning and was greeted by a panel of interviewers who were all but interrupting one another in their attempts to toss softball questions her way. Here’s what’s interesting: Wen did not say the word “abortion” one single time during the entire interview. Instead, she relied on the familiar euphemisms of the pro-choice movement: “reproductive rights”, “access to health care”, and the standard Planned Parenthood slogan, “Women’s health care is health care.”
Wen kept stressing that she’s a doctor, she’s all about healing, all about life–it’s all about reproductive health care, it’s all about women’s health care. In the words of Albert Mohler, the President of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wen’s lack of being forthright about the abortion services provided by her organization is “one of the great horrifying deadly lies of the 21st century”. Wen’s constant use of the term “reproductive care” is really serving as a camouflage for abortion. She’s all for women’s health, unless you happen to be an unborn woman, and that’s what’s so truly deceptive.
