A Prayer for Our Children – Part 3
Hello again, friends. If you are joining us mid-way through this series on Praying for our Children, please go back and catch the other posts for praying over our little ones.
Prayer for Sanctification
Lord, transform our children to be like you and not like the world. Continually transform them by the renewing of their mind to prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. May they walk the narrow way and find their hope always in You as their hiding place and their shield. You alone are sufficient for them. Father, there is so much in our world to desire and to love outside of You, so I pray that they would count worldly things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus and gain Christ. I pray that they would live in a way that they believe who they are in Christ… they are an epistle known and read by all men—an epistle of Christ. May they be salt and light in a dark world. May their light shine before men that they may glorify the Father in heaven. May they know the joy of your presence, walking with you, rooted in you, being built up in you. May they mature in Christ as they spend time in your presence. Strengthen them, Father, in their weaknesses and guide them to accomplish your purposes with the talents and giftings you have bestowed upon them. Your will be done in their life.
In Jesus’ Name Amen
