Help us to understand that the rest You call us to is not one of inactivity but of dependence. Teach us to rest in Your forgiveness, provision, and fruit in our lives.
Give us insight into the particular needs of others so we can use our words to “warn the idle, encourage the timid, and help the weak,” giving each the words they need in their particular situation.
