The Christmas Story
This Christmas we are focusing on the The Story. God’s story and how he loved us so much that He sent His only Son to die on the cross and rise again so we could be forgiven and know Him personally. This real story of Christmas transcends the season and should be celebrated every day of the year. The story of Christmas never changes – yet Jesus changes everything. I trust that your life’s story is forever changed and becomes part of God’s story of Christmas, hope, and salvation. Who will you tell your story with this Christmas so you can connect them to God’s Story? It is an opportunity to tell the greatest story ever told!
Mark 1:14-20 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” At once they left their nets and followed him. Mark 1:17–18
Jesus’ Story: When Jesus invited Simon, Andrew, James and John to be disciples, how would they have understood fishing for men? Jesus has called all of us to be disciples and fishers of men and women in our community.
